Demo Nights

Demo Nights are casual, beginner-friendly events where participants explore biosensing technology through fun, hands-on activities.

They’re a great way to learn new skills, meet people, and discover what this tech can do!

Each event features a unique project where attendees get to experiment with bio-sensors or microcontrollers and learn how to build something from scratch, with guidance from experienced mentors.

Past Demo Nights

NAT’s first Demo Night of 2025 brought students together to build biosensor projects and explore neurotech.

NAT and Students for Machine Learning in Business (SMLB) hosted a Demo Night where students explored machine learning tools and built projects with real data.

Wearable tech on fabric with circuit board and LED lights

NAT and the University of Alberta Art Club (UAC) co-hosted a Demo Night, during which participants combined art and technology to create their own light-up, touch-sensitive fabric projects.
